When a listing can be claimed
Existing listings that do not yet have an account owner display “Is this website yours? Claim it now” below the website address. This can include free listings that were added through the manual submission form. Listings that are already attached to an account cannot be claimed by another user through this process.
How to claim your website
- Open your website's public listing and select Claim it now.
- Continue with Google or GitHub to sign in or create your PublishYourSaaS account.
- Copy the unique TXT record shown on the claim screen.
- Add that record in the DNS settings for the listed domain.
- Select Check DNS and claim website.
When the exact record is found, the listing is attached to your account automatically and appears under My Listings in your dashboard.
How to upgrade after claiming
Claiming gives your account management access to the existing listing. It does not create a duplicate listing or automatically change its current plan.
- After the DNS claim succeeds, open your dashboard.
- Find the claimed website under My Listings.
- Select Upgrade to Starter or Upgrade to Advanced on that listing.
- Complete the secure checkout for your selected plan.
After payment is confirmed, the paid plan and its benefits are applied to the same listing. You do not need to submit the website again.
DNS verification help
DNS updates often appear within a few minutes but can take longer. Keep the record exactly as provided. If your DNS provider automatically adds your domain name, enter only the host portion shown in the claim instructions.
Claim challenges expire. If yours expires, return to the public listing and start again to receive a new record. You may remove the TXT record after the claim succeeds.
Authorization and disputes
Only claim a listing if you own the website or are authorized to act for its owner. Verification grants management access to the listing inside PublishYourSaaS; it does not determine legal ownership of a domain, business, trademark, or other intellectual property.
