About

7items

7items is a tech gadget blog for buying decisions. It separates the features that count from the ones that don't, and tells you which product to get.

Posts are grouped into six categories: monitors, keyboards, mice, phones, 3D printing and RC cars. You will find head-to-head comparisons of close rivals, buying roundups at a set budget, and deep dives into the one spec that decides a purchase, from switch wobble and sensor polling rates to dimming zones, filament heat limits and crawler drivetrains.

Numbers come before opinions. Where a post makes a performance claim, it states the figure and the conditions it was measured under, so you can argue with the method. Nothing on the site is paid for by the thing being reviewed. A free weekly newsletter sends the week's posts, the measurements behind them and any corrections, with one-click unsubscribe.
