Markdific: Markdown viewer and editor

Markdific is a Markdown viewer and editor for Mac, Windows and Linux. Open .md files and read them as formatted documents, without importing them into a library or setting up a workspace. Use it to read documentation and README files, edit notes, work with technical content and prepare documents to share.

Markdific displays headings, lists, tables, syntax-highlighted code, LaTeX math, Mermaid diagrams and images in a readable document. The outline sidebar lets you jump between sections, and tabs keep several files open. On Mac, Quick Look previews Markdown files in Finder.

Edit directly in the formatted document with the formatting toolbar, switch to Markdown source, or use split view with a live preview beside the source. When you save, only the parts you edited change; formatting and line endings elsewhere in the file stay as they were.

Export to PDF, Word and HTML, or to 11 more formats including EPUB, RTF and LaTeX, without installing Pandoc. Choose themes and fonts, read in full-screen presentation mode, and use the interface in 7 languages. Files stay plain Markdown on your computer.

Reading Markdown files is free. Editing and export come with a 14-day free trial.
