About
PianoGrid
PianoGrid is a free browser-based piano reference. It shows chord notes and inversions, scale references, labeled-keyboard diagrams, note frequencies, and printable staff paper. No PianoGrid account is required for these references.
The labeled-keyboard page includes an A0–C8 88-key layout, a C2–C7 61-key example, and a C4–C5 white-key worksheet pack with a labeled reference, a write-in worksheet, and an answer page, in US Letter and A4. These are reference diagrams, not full-size keyboard stickers or assessments of playing technique. https://pianogrid.com/keyboard-notes/labeled
The frequency reference covers the 88-key A0–C8 range. It places the note name, physical piano-key number, MIDI number, and frequency next to each other. A4 is MIDI 69 but piano key 49. Middle C is labeled C4, MIDI 60, and piano key 40. Frequencies assume twelve-tone equal temperament with A4 = 440 Hz. They are calculated reference values, not measurements of an instrument. https://pianogrid.com/keyboard-notes/frequencies
It is not a structured course or a system for decomposing complex songs. External sheet-music providers may charge or require an account.
