Watchgoose is a hosted monitoring service for recurring work: cron jobs, backups, queue workers, ETL and maintenance scripts. Each check gets a unique ping URL that your job calls after a successful run, or /fail on error. After the first success, Watchgoose expects the next run on your schedule (simple interval, cron expression or systemd OnCalendar) plus a grace period. If a run fails or goes missing, your team is alerted through 12+ channels including email, Slack, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, Pushover, Signal, SMS and webhooks.
